Raceland luggage rack is assembled and installed. I now can carry all sorts of stuff with my miata. This will be ideal for long road trips, picking someone up from the airport, or skiing. Plus I think it looks pretty cool too. It's removable with 4 Allen screws but that isn't all too convenient. I will see how I like it on there full time for now but I'll probably end up putting it on and off as needed in the future. I can't use my bike rack at the same time as this so once things warm up, that will be in place more often. Anyways, a couple pics of my skiis mounted securely and they do not stick out past the mirrors.

You should ditch the rack itself and get swangas

I wonder if the weight of run flats is less than the weight of a spare. Although either way, they are more expensive and I'd rather put that money towards a nice set of summers.

That is classy for sure. Needs more spikes though.

Lol oh god run flats are terrible. They don't even serve their intended purpose. What a joke!

With shipping it was just under $180. That is not bad at all for how useful it is. I think it seems pretty well constructed too so I will be able to carry all kinds of things with it. The first thing I will be transporting is my tires when I go to take of my snow tires this weekend. It will definitely be way easier that way than trying to fit them all elsewhere. Plus I have a 2000 mile road trip at the end of April, so I am sure I will make good use of it.

I can just about guarantee I would never actually use it for anything.

Haha well that's not the spirit. My Miata is my only vehicle so that is probably why I will find it more useful.

My wife has an 09 CRV, so my Miata is allowed to be impractical. I also own a MINI Cooper s.

Yup, you might as well fully track-prep the Miata then and leave it on race slicks. You don't need a roof ever then either. Might as well remove all body panels and most of the interior too, because lightness!

I am very very tempted to take all the body panels off. Like roadkill did to that corvette.
